Recall Not Required, For My Iq Anyway

Just sent my VIN off to the recall website and the result came back that no recall is required for my IQ 2 (bought in Feb 09).

That saves a bit of hassle, just the first service to get out of the way now!

Mine neither (iQ 3 Nov 09) or Kate's Aygo Black (Jan 09) - phew!

Thanks for the link. Just checked 'er indoors iQ bought Jan 2010 and its not affected either.

Looks like it's just me then. :(

IQ2 March '09.

Thought mine would be affected as we bought from the same place at same sort of time but alas, mine is ok. Hope you get it sorted soon

It is the case that parts from different suppliers are used are the same production lines and it is only parts from one supplier that are questionable.

My iQ is fine too.

dec 09 iq not affected.

funny all this media witch hunt, last car i had suffered from water ingress into the fbw pedal assembly causing sudden loss of power, never was a recall.

Also suffered with really bad ABS, to the point where most owners installed an ABS cutoff switch........ tbh there was quite a few issues with that make of car...
