Does Eco Mode Cause The Braking 'issue'?

Just been wondering whether Eco mode is where the problem lies for the braking issue? I used to use it a lot but haven't done recently as it doesn't seem to affect my fuel economy. Also, the braking issue has occured to me about 4 times but again, not recently despite using the same roads.

Could it be as simple as Eco mode causing the problem and sticking to normal mode solves it pending the recall? Or is that just too simple?

I would say that it is not connected to Eco mode.

I have hardly ever used Eco mode, the throttle response becomes to dull for my liking. So the one and only time I felt this braking issue () was almost certainly in normal mode.

Sorry, for some reason the word 'issue' just ticked me :P Must be post night shift jet lag messing with my mind AGAIN!:lol::lol::lol:

Not in my case - I never use eco mode and it happens all the time, even this morning as I drove into our work car park. I hadn't thought of trying the different modes to see if it has an impact though. The more options we rule out the better (even though they seem to be recalling them now).

Well it was just a thought. Suppose it doesn't matter as they're getting recalled anyway.
