Which Bulbs Do I Need?

what types of bulbs do i need to change the heater modual, cd player and speedo to green from orange?

any one have a brief description how to do it aswell?

The HVAC-panel uses two T5 bulbs, you need flattop or concave

LED-replacements if you want an even spread light in the panel.

The speedo uses 3 PLCC2 SMD LEDs, revcounter 2.

Replacing them involves taking the entire thing apart.

The radio uses 44 SMD LEDs size 1206, involves

taking the entire front faceplate apart.

I have a bit of experience with these modifications, but still it takes me

about 3 hours to do a radio and little under 2 for a speedo and revcounter.

You need to be pretty handy at soldering and some specialist tools are

a definate plus to have (a desoldering pistol or lead-sucker) as you

need to desolder 47 contacts on the radio display and 26 for the speedo.

If you don;t get all the tin/lead out you'll end up with a broken display

end you really need to take ESD into account too: I allways ground myself

with a special bracelet and don't touch anything I don't need to touch.

See this link for the heater module.

Just make sure you don't get LEDs that are the same fitting code but have positive and negative connectors on both sides.

I made that mistake with mine.

The radio isn't described anywhere, I had a spare radio

that I just took a gamble on. Luckily that turned out fine...
