Good Service From Toyota Today!

I booked the Auris in for it's 38'000 mile service today.. Took it to the dealership, and told them about all the problems there was with the car (Some have been there a long time, I just didn't really think anything could be done about it).

The seat feels like it's broken in the back, and the thing to raise the seat is broken; So they've ordered a new rail, and seat frame which they'll fit next week.

There's a creaking noise from the steering column; Found out what it is, again had to order a part for it.. But it'll be in the same time as the other stuff.

The steering wheel has never been straight since it got insurance work done on it (Maybe a year ago..); Told me that was fine, they'd get it sorted out when they're installing the new part in the steering column.

Then nearly two hours into the work; service, and checking all those problems.. I got a phonecall saying there was a letter from Toyota at the house, so I told them about that and they did the recall work whilst they had the car.

AND then, as I was about to leave, I remembered about a piece of trim in the boot that holds up the parcel shelf being broke.. afaik it was broke when we bought the car.. And he told me he'd get me the piece I needed.

So basically the car's to go back in next week, but it's getting a tonne of work done to it.. And hopefully it'll be in better shape than when we first got it.

I'm pretty chuffed to be honest..

Very pleased with the work they're doing, we've always had great experiences with them!

That is all!
