Central Locking Opening But Not Closing With Key Fob?

Hi,

Basically as topic. I can unlock the car with the button on the key and thats fine all doors open. However when I go to lock it, it doesn't work. Tried both keys and the same result - opens but does not close.

Any ideas?

Hi,

Your key fobs could need to be re-programmed.

What model year is your D-4D?

It's 2004 - if they need reprogramming why would they open? It seems strange to be able to open the door fine and not lock them?

Fixed! It was the boot caught on the rubber that goes around and wasn't closing properly - never knew that it would fail to lock.
