Hi, I am fitting an alarm system to my Toyota Aygo, part of the fitment requires me to remove the centre console, I have had a look at it and removed the 12mm bolt and gear knob. As far as I can see the front section that sits up against the dash looks as if it is clipped in, as I done want to start pulling at it I was wondering has anyone ever removed it, if they have could they give nay info on the removal please.

Lift it up slightly at the little pocket, then pull the entire thing towards

the rear of the car. there are two click-fastenings at the corners next

to the 12V-plug and a couple of hooks further towards the firewall.

These hooks have allmost no resistance, the clicking bits can be a bit of a pain.

When refitting take special care to line everything up correctly;

I failed to do so once and this collapsed one of the "clicks"...

You can just see one of the clicky-bits to the right of the pocket in front

of the cupholders and one of the hooks is visible in the top left corner.

And if it isn't clear by itself: this pic was taken from the bottom of the console...
