Corolla Sunroof

can anyone tell me if it is normal for a 1993 1.3 corolla to have a manual operating sunroof instead of a solid steel one? i thought they all came with the sliding steel one just like the gti models that they preceeded? or was i looking at a home made job?? considering buying this car but this is the only thing putting me off thanks

Your model came after the GTi 1989-92 so I would have thought it would be automatic. You would be able to tell if it was a bodge.
