Clutch Sticking?

I have just bought the Aygo 1.0 on an 08 plate and have noticed when depressing clutch fully it sticks for a couple of seconds before releasing. At first I thought it was catching on the mat but this is not the case. Is this normal

Hi Jan,

Its the pedal that sticks for maybe a second then releases. The actual clutch itself is fine, however I do tend not to depress the clutch fully in case it doesn't release.

So when you release the pedal the clutch engages slowly and then

the pedal comes up? I'd suspect the cable or the pedal-mechanism.
