How To Fit Iq Carpet Mats?

Hi all,

I'm getting my new IQ2 in a few weeks and am considering buying the official carpet mats online, rather than from the dealer, to save some money. Question is, how easy are they to fit? I assume they are somehow locked/secured to the floor, but are the fixings for this already in place? If I have to start pulling my new car's floor apart just to fit these I think I'll bite the bullet and just pay the dealer's prices instead!

Thanks all!

its fairly easy, took me about 10 mins, you have to cut the carpet a tiny bit to get the fixing hooks i,m no diy expert but you get instructions with the iq mats and the fixing hooks.

You shouldn’t have to cut any type of official mat, they are made to measure!

The carpet fitted to the car is pre-cut to allow access to the places where the mat retaining fittings are put, but I too found I had to use a Stanley knife just to cut through in a couple of places where the pre-perforations had not gone all the way through.
