Is It Worth Buying An Auris Now, Almost 3 Years After Its Initial Rele

so comming back to the original point, Octavia Vrs, Sirrocco GTI or Hilux 3.0? And, is it worth buying an auris ever again or even to start off on?

I dont understand the comparison and random choice of cars as your choices.

Big hatch vs Coupe vs Pickup?

That has to be the most random choices of cars to be considering? From this i have no idea what you want your car to do, you might as well be asking to choose between a fridge or an iron. What do you want from your car?

As for the Auris... Personally i bought the only model that in my opinion was worth it, now that they have stopped it the short answer is no.

Well i decided i wanted to a car that was going to be solid and practical. Another category was the car was either going to be big and slow but have a road presence or smallish and fast but also solid. And essential to have an auto box

that help?

123d coupe - an absolute beauty of a car. Not that pretty but excellent to drive.

Solid, big and practical. Ummm well initially i thought Toyota Landcruiser but then i thought.... hmm not that practical. Probably overkill. Actually, definite overkill. Then i thought of the Rav4, but no autobox diesel as the petrol is dire. Then there is the possibility of a diesel autobox on the new model? Either way our Rav4 was a superb family get about.

my mum has the t180 rav4, not impressed with it. i used to have a 2.0 litre petrol rav4, was good, but wudnt go back to one, the hilux has a rep for bein undestroyable. the octavia won best car of the year and along with the sirocco gti with a dsg gearbox is fast so i hear. a 1 series bmw is a birds car lets be honest and hideously overpriced

I wouldnt get the sirrocco. It just a golf with a pretty frock on.

OUt of the other two, Its just depends on which you prefer to drive, I looked at the octavia before I got my avensis and would have got one if I didnt get the avensis. Neither is a bad choice, but Im guessing the fuel bill in the octavia will be a smidge lower then the hilux.

well the sirocco and octavia are quoting a combined 40mpg while the hilux gets a combined 33mpg apparently with the auto box

Ive owned a 120D M Sport.

Do not buy one if you ever carry passengers - very small in the back and pretty claustrophobic. also !Removed! awful in the snow/slush/ice/rain.

My last car was a Golf GTI - totally fantastic, the best car Ive ever owned. (Im 42 and have had 30 cars!!) 200bhp petrol that does an easy 30mpg.

Now I have a 320D SE. Only had it a few months but sick of not being able to use it in bad weather, so Im looking at getting rid and Ive seen an Auris SR180.....had a 2.0D4D a couple of years ago.....fond memories.

Its quite simple.....buy the scirocco. The Skoda is fugly since the facelift .

I ordered a scirocco but then cancelled the order when I found the car wouldnt fit in my garage. Its pretty wide with stand out door mirrors.

I guarantee you wont regret buying the scirocco.
