Help Avensis Rear P/s Door

Hello i have a 2004 avensis t3s the rear door does not open from the inside

it only opens from the outside the central locking works fine the child lock is off aswell... ive took off the doorcard and the cables are also intact please someone help

its beginning to do my head in
