Hi, all.

I have owned a 2008 2000cc vvti automatic from new. When I first got the car the mpg was approx. 23/24 around town. After a few months this increased to 26/27 around town and 32 plus on trips to France which I considered acceptable. On my last three fill ups however the mpg has dropped to 19-21, albeit over the winter period. I check my fuel consumption every time fill up to fill up The car has now done 12,000 miles.

I am curious if this seems average for this car or is it as I suspect now quite low. PS, I drive the car very steady on local trips.

Thanks in advance pjtynan

My fuel consumption has dropped right off by about 20-25% during this cold weather. I wouldn't worry about it until average daytime temps start to get towards double figures. It doesn't look if that will be anytime soon though!!!
