hi,

has any member had their dual mass flywheel changed on 2.2 d4d verso, if so what was the symptoms for changing it?

I've had mine changed on a 2.0D4D 2010 model.

Noise from clutch like metallic ratteling when revved in neutral, noise appeared when revs dropped back down to idle. Noise not there when same done with clutch depressed. Only had 16K on the clock. Dealer fitted new clutch and DMF complete.

Symptons can be anything from noise at tickover, clanking metallic noise, to complete and sudden failure causing the DMF to fall apart and stop the car from driving

The latter is not common and they are most definatly better these days than when first introduced

First on a Verso I`ve heard about, was a reason given why at such low miles ?

engine changed on mine at 75k checked duall mass and still good to go and cluch in good cond!
