Hello Everyone

When I put a CD into the player, the systems works for a short period before loosing volume, all power stays on but no sound. So far the general fix has been a good solid thump to the passenger side of the dashboard in line with the volume control!! sounds like a loose connection (note I did get my work engineer to do a lot of resoldering of connections which worked for a while 5 months) however I am now back to square 1 - any ideas??

Had exactly the same problem on my Avensis Vermont. Changed stereo in the end. Took old one apart and found a 2 pence piece inside. Let me know if you need a stereo, think I still have a spare knocking about in the garage.
