Vibrations Through Pedals

Hi, so I bought a new aygo blue in Dec 2009. At the time, I didn't notice this, but now I seem to have a slight vibration through the pedals, particularly when I am accelerating. I mainly feel it through the clutch and accelerator pedals. For instance, lets say I am in 2nd gear, and then I accelerate from ~15mph to ~30mph and put the clutch down to change into 3rd, as I put the cluctch down I get vibrations through the pedal. I also get the vibrations through the accelarator pedal as I am accelarating. I know the agyo is a "noisy" car, but is this normal?

Could be a faulty engine mounting or a pipe not clipped to the bulkhead in the engine bay.

I only find this very slightly when I'm absolutely thrashing it in like 3rd gear or more.

I put it down to the fact that at those revs the clutch is under a lot of pressure. I have never had it at sub 60 speeds.

Hi cammo12,

I was wondering how you got on with your problem,as i've got an iQ which has the same engine. I was wondering if i may have the same issue!.I get a vibration through the steering wheel & acc pedal occasionally,but mainly it's a cabin booming/vibration. It mainly happens when i'm in 4/5th gear @ 2,000rpm, also the exhaust note seems different. Above 2,000rpm all seems fine...
