Turbo Is Smoking Off Boost

hi ive got a glanza and the turbo smokes like mad when im off the boost an only once the turbo has warmed up..i have been told its because the seal has gone? is this corect? and if im going to replace it could i just chuck a bigger turbo on with out changing anything else?? and also which turbo do i need? i think its a ct12..

If you fit a bigger turbo capable of delivering more air how do you plan to get more fuel in??:)

Does sound like your turbo oil seals have gone on the exhaust side

No you cannot add a bigger turbo without changing the manifold etc, plus as already stated you would need to up the fuelling etc.

Your only straight swap option would be a hybrid.

ok thanks..do you know the best place to get a turbo from or can i get the old one re-built??? sorry but am new to turbo cars as i had a 106 gti before
