I have a 2003 Rav4 2.0 D4D, it is nearing 60k. Dose this engine have a timing belt or chain? A belt would be due for renewal? Many thanks in advance. :)

Just what I would like to know - from my research some say chain & some belt. See Technical specifications here D4D

I think you'll find it's a 1CD-FTV engine and it has a cam belt. Change @ 60K.
