Hi, I had my L/C in storage for a year, had the full monte service/oil change before hand then driven less than 50 miles before I put it in storage for a year, as I was away out the country that period of time.

When I collected it replaced the Battery as one was dead, pumped tires up put new diesel in, after checking everything, I took it for a drive.

I was disappointed as it was sluggish and very heavy to drive (more than normal)

I took it out to Kent last week and only got 388.9 miles to the tank (90 Ltrs) It all works out to 14 MPG where I normally got between 22-24 MPG on the same journey. It felt like the brakes where on the whole way, took a while to pick up speed unless I floored it which I was tempted to do but drove as I always did, let her build up the speed at her own pace with a steady foot.

She Has only Less than 62K on the clock!

Does any one know what could be the problem or what I need to do before sending her to a Toyota Dealer and paying a fortune?

Many thanks

Have you checked that the brakes haven't seized?

Did they change the fuel filter? Have you tried a tank worth of injector cleaner?
