Hey everyone, am new to the site, have got a,'88 Toyota Starlet 1.0 12v and am in the midst of a few mods:

Done:

14"alloys on

Custom made bolt on K&N filter

(later today and stripping the carb and changing the jet)

To Do:

Exhaust (stainless with motor bike silencer or custom silencer)

Front and rear strut braces

EP91 Front brakes

Webber Carb

Weight Reduction (carpets etc go bye bye) and new bucket seats

Polish and port engine

Carbon fibre dash and bass box

Avgas boost (from seperate custom tank with adjustable intake tap)

Spax lowering 40mm

(its gotta have!!) Turbo

am hoping to get about 85-90bhp without the turbo and about 130-150 with turbo boosting!

gonna also go with the sleeper look for the car as it has the ultimate sleeper look already its an EP71 so its square and its beige, with a lovely brown interior!!!! (looks like something my granny should drive) should still be able to tune it to be the mutts nuts but wondered if anyone else had done an avgas boost before? can't be bothered with Nos as its alot more pricey and its what all the corsa and escort kids with their huge pointless body kits would be expecting.

Will keep the site posted as project starlet takes form but would appriciate any comments!! :D

cheers Phil

its not a 1.2l its a 1.0l but its 12valve :) (1.0 12v) like a corsa but with 4cylinders and not **** like corsa either

Oops, i typed it wrong, i meant to put 1.0l, hehehe, yeah like the geezer that put my LED scanner in my car at Top Banana said that his wife has got a Yaris and they are way better than the Corsa, because Corsa goes to the scrap yard in about 2 years time and the old Toyota's still looks brand new after 2 years. nicely said.
