Timing Adjustment 1990 Camry...

I have a 1990 toyota camry four cylinder with little get up and go. At night the exhaust glows orange. Does anyone think this is a timing problem? If so, what are the specs? (I have changed the plugs, plug wires, distributor cap to no avail). Thanks

Sounds like the Cat ( cathlitic converter ) (spelling?)

They will clog up, so the heat form the motor can not get by like it should, Causing the exhaust pipes to get HOT and glow. Does the exhaust smell like rotten eggs at all?
