2Nd Gear Notch Problem

Hi folks.

I picked up my new black iQ3 on Monday from Helensburgh Toyota and have been :thumbsup:completely :thumbsup: satisfied with it up to now.The staff could not have been more professional :toast: and were on the ball with everything.The car is far better than the iQ2 I test drove last week it has more punch and seems more just everything.The 2nd gear takes a lot of getting used to especially coming down the gears and I hear mention on this site of a Technical Bulletin on this subject,What is that referring to and is there a cure for the notch problem?

The car has the 60MPG limit reading and I will mention the fix to the service manager today after finding the details here.

Welcome to TOC!! Had the 60mpg thing done, is fine now....though dont use it hehe. 2nd gear - well I just got used to it!! Mine's an IQ2 and I am satisfied with it :thumbsup:

Heh! knew you'd like that wee bit extra that the 3 has over the 2.

keep forgetting to get the 60mpg thing fixed, don't really use it that much. Too busy enjoying the drive. :yahoo:

The 2nd gear notchiness seems to fade with mileage. ether that or u just get used to it.

Mine is the tyrol silver (tho myrol brown is a better descripton in this weather) iQ3 that scoots about the area.
