Does anyone have the service manual for Carina GLi E? I want to take apart the panel with the A/C switches etc but I don't know how I should do this without breaking anything.

I would suggest you to buy the Haynes manual. If you plan to do this job you might want to do other jobs too. You can buy it on line at their website.

Just be gentle when you take that panel apart. That is the panel around the radio isn't it? Stupid question, but I don't have Ac in my car. STart with the rame around the radio. Then gentle pry the panel out. Start in a lower corner.
