Is The Prius Becoming Mainstream?

Went to town today to get my hair cut (all seven of them) and parked in a multistory carpark.

When I returned 20 mins later I noticed a pearl white gen3 Prius had parked next to me. As I walked closer to my car a blue gen3 Prius pulled in next to the white one! Three in a row!

I did have a bit of a chuckle with the woman who had just parked it as I thought the Prius was supposed to be a rare old thing outside of London. It would appear not as I have seen many parked up around town on my travels.

Maybe us Yorkshire folk know a good thing when we see one.

:)

Yorkshire folk

:)

Scotsmen who ran out of money on the way to London . . . .

So entirely understandable.

We're not tight, just careful with our money!

Aye, but there's serious money in the Harrogate area. I eat a lot at The Orchid and Bettys and you can smell the money. Not mine, admittedly.

I am seeing a few more around Southampton. Not seen a 10 plate Prius yet.

Had a 3 car Prius convoy a couple of weekends ago (2 gen3, 1 gen2).

The used car lot down the road has got a gen2 on the forecourt.

And my days of "i'm the only Prius owner in the village" seem to be over. :(

Seen very few in my part of the world; a red 59 plate Gen3 did pass my drive yesterday while I was cleaning my 1 week old black T-Spirit but he was just visiting.

I am the only person with a Gen3 in my village.
