Toyota Curren Owners In Cyprus?

Cyprus Toyota Curren

Hi all,

I recently bought a Curren and love the car. I am abit worried though that it might be hard to maintain as in Spare parts etc. the Mechanic told me that it is a special car and parts are hard to come by however after doing some research i find that people say that Celica parts can be used on the Curren no problem. Based in Cyprus and the Mechanics here tend to rip people off even the so called good ones. for example he told me a set of Sparks for the Curren start at 140 euros, it that around the correct mark or can i find them cheaper?. i need help with the following questions if anyone has any information,

1. Where on the Net can i source parts?

2. where can i get a copy of an owners manual, download from somewhere? ( Curren 1996 ST206 )

3. Would i be better taking the car to a Toyota garage instead of another Mechanic?.

4. how much does a new ABS System cost?

5. How much does CV joints cost.

apologies for all the questions, dont know too much about cars.

thank you in advance

CY Curren

The Toyota Curren is basically a generation 6 Celica with different bodywork back and front, i guess ever the doors and the inside are just as Gen6 celica, any mechanical parts you need can also come from the celica, the Curren used the 7A-FE, 3S-FE and 3S-GE engines all found in the 1994-1999 Celica, so all parts should be avalible from a Toyota deal or spares shop.

Do you know your model code ? E-ST206-----------
