Hii all.

well i've been with toyota a while, but due to the fact of the old family getting bigger i need something that would get more for my money.

im picking up my SR 180 on friday as i had quite a good deal with it.

Is there anything you guys would recommend doing? ( cleaning stuff, small mods, etc?)

hoping to be speaking to you guys again at some stage with problems and things that are going on with the car.

so ill say hi again.

Congrats great car. Checking and cleaning the air filter is a good start. Also cleaning the egr valve gave me slighly sharper pickup and more willingness to Rev.

If your into turning parts king on these forums sells a nice tuning device which increases boost pressure too so it wont really run a rich fuel mix. It comes really recommended by some owners here. I think it gives nearly 220bhp and nearly 500nm.

If you like visual tweaks the twin toyota zorsts look great IMO but do add 16kg. Quite pricey and you could get a local garage to copy it for a fraction.

I used to have a compressor too. You'll miss the whine then the scream for sure. But I'm liking the change. So much more comfortable and quieter but still retaining some pace. About double the MPG too :)

to be honest i am already missing the whine. lol

and good advice for cleaning stuff, i know dodo i suppost to be good but not sure if anyone is using it on these.

im looking for comfert and a nice drive and i think i got it there.

just hoping i dont miss the whine to much.
