My switch is not illuminated? Should it be?,seems rather odd that is not. It's rather annoying trying to find the switch when it's dark.

There's no illumination on mine. I must admit it does seem to be "hidden" to an extent. I don't have pudgy dabs by any means! :)

shame you can't have them retract when you lock the doors and open when you unlock. It is odd that finding the button is so difficult? when the other switches are o/k

Give the button an extra press after you turn the car off, then they'll extend when you next turn the car on.
