New Stereo

Hi,

This is my first post here. I just bought myself a fine Corolla Verso from -06.

It is the 177hp diesel, nice.

But, the CD player is not that nice, it tend to slip and not reading most of my cd´s, all originals.

A new original stereo cost 1400GBP, a bit to much....

So, I was thinking of buy a 2 din stereo. Any suggestions? Does the steeringweel remote work with most stereos or just with a few?

I´m sitting in the car for several hours every day so it would be nice with good sound.

Have anyone fitted better Speakers? Subs? I do not want sacryfice "any" bootspace so it have to be neet.

Anyone know how to remove the original stereo?

The new one is on its way here and I cant get it out of the dash without being afraid to break anything.....

So I need help fast!!

Try this link http://www.toyota-tech.eu/Aim.aspx?menuitem=3 it links to Toyotas free accessory database navigate to the list for your Verso & then look for the instructions for ant TNS### navigation system, this will show how to strip the dash.
