Fit Front Fog Lamps

To all, Looking for Help,I have a 01(Irish market) mk1 face-lifted avensis aura d4d,this car did not originally come with front fog lamps,I have fitted the fog lamps using the plugs suppied on the original loom behind the bumper and fitted a new combination switch (stalk) at the steering column incorporaring the switch for the front fog lamps. Can anyone guide me to the location of the front fog lamp relay holder and fuse location or what are the ins and outs of completing the circuit, thanks,all.

I have a 05 Avensis Irish (no front fogs) and would like to do the same. I note from the handbook that fuse 43 (10A) supplies lights = Parking, Tail, licence Plate, Trunk, FRONT FOGS,Rear Fogs, Meters, but this does not make sense because they will pull more than 10A with everything else in the circuit. We need a auto electrician for this one.

Just did an upgrade on my MK11 Avensis, same as you, no fog lights from new. Ordered the whole kit from Parts-King (Toyota dealer in UK)for about £180 or so. Lights,bumper trims, wiring looms, switch & relays all included, all fitted in a couple of hr's. You may be missing parts of the loom & you will not have location for relay ? Sorry, cannot help with MK1, but might be worth your while sending a PM to Part-King.

Sorry. I forgot to say, cicuit has a 15amp fuse.

I have a 04 with fogs and i remember when i blew fuse 43 all above mentioned lights and fogs were off, stuck in a new 10a everything hunky dory
