Oil Light In 2005 D4D

I HAVE A 2005 D4D.TODAY THE OIL LIGHT HAS CAME ON AND WONT GO OFF UNTILL I PRESS THE ACCELATOR THEN WHEN I TAKE MY FOOT OFF THE PEDAL IT COMES ON AGAIN.THE OIL LEVEL IS FINE IN THE CAR AND WASNT LONG SERVICED.ITS BEEN LIKE THIS FROM EARLIER THIS MORNING.THE ONLY OTHER THING THAT I CAN ADD IS THAT YESTERDAY I TURNED THE IGNITION ON WHILE IT GEAR AND THE CAR JERKED FOWARD QUITE HARD AND STALLED.ANY IDEAS FOLKS,CHEERS

dont run your car

have the oil pump checked.

It sounds like not enough pressure is being built.

U SERIOUS I THOUGHT IT WAS SOMETHING SIMPLE

hi mate

have your oil and filter changed as both and try to start -- if the same alert will go ON then it better to investigate your oil pump.

if you drive on low pressure

you will damage ur engine.
