Passenger compartment is intact, steering wheel and dashboard havent moved forward into the driver or passenger, occupants will have probably walked away with non life threatening injuries.

Looks like a pedestrian may have been hit (windscreen has been bulls eyed inwards)? Car has swerved to the right or made contact with another vehicle coming the other way (offside front damage), but the damage would be more with a combined speed (depending on speed of both vehicles). Seat belt pre tensioners also activated.

Survivable if you were inside :thumbsup:

Having seen an old shape Ford Ka hit a motorbike head on, I'd say your assumption is pretty much correct :(

Just to show how far small cars have come in the last 10 or so years, here's a Rover 100 being tested from 1997...
