hi al

with a conventional ignition system when turning ignition on your oil warning lamp comes on with others and when starting engine the lamp goes out so you know that the system is working and oil preessure is ok.

my just purchased auris i.6 has smart start and no oil pressure light is privided that shows when turning on ignition,but a warning system that only shows when oil pressure is low, my question is how do you know this is working if it only shows when there is fault
