Auris Headlight Options

did the Auris ( mines a 2008 T-spirit ) ever have factory fit HIDs as an option?

i'm wondering because I've just come from an Astra, which had Phillips extreme bulbs for dipped and osram night breakers for main beam.. and the lights on the Auris are WAY better...

i have noticed though that on the edge of the beam when i pull up to the garage door has a 'blue' halo to it, and they're very white lights.

The dealer didnt mention HIDs.. but i wonder if they were an option anywhere?

no mate not an option on your year of car their is not a lot of toyotas that come with a hid option if any.....

the light your talking about is because you have projector headlights....

people have fitted after market hid kits from the likes of eBay...

No problem, always glad to help :) I think you wouldn't find my link useful, as I bought mine from Finland... If you want to know which one I chose, it was the one made by Cobra. Almost two years of use and no problems so far.

http://toyotaownersclub.com/forums/index.php?s=&showtopic=92034&view=findpost&p=845434

Had them in for well over a year now. I've aligned them correctly

and never been flashed. The true test will be my first MOT in May.

Enjoy.
