Do you mean which country or which individual factory it was assembled in?

The Chassis number should help if it is country of origin, Jap ones have different vin letters to Frenchies. Of corse, it may have changed if you are refering to newer cars.

So my new Yaris T-Sport has 0 as the 11th number, So it's a Jap built one.

The engine code doesn't match up though. I have a 'T' as the 5th digit. That's not right is it?

If your VIN starts with the letters JTD then it was made in Japan.

Yes, it does start JTD

ALL Yaris T Sports were made in Japan. *Most* non-TS Yaris were made in France after 2002 (when the French factory opened.)
