Auto Windscreen Wipers

Hi anyone had the auto windscreen wipers on Gen3 faulty ie when raining not working, when dry taking 10 minutes to stop wiping,have noticed when pressing the back of the sensor just a little lower than the joint in the plastic this causes the wipers sweep the screen it's booked in in 3 weeks time but at the moment it's driving me nuts

Have you tried cleaning the outside of the windscreen, right where the sensor is ?

Could be abit of dirt or debris there.

I find mine abit too sensitive, but, could be alot worse.

Hi screen is perfectly clean so thats not the problem

I've not had a problem with mine. Perhaps they keep going a bit too long after the rain has stopped, but much better than the Civic.

No problems with mine so far, and actually glad they're a bit more sensitive than the ones on my old BMW.

Hi guys,

Just to let you know you can adjust the sensitivity on the automatic wipers by the turning the windscreen wiper delay stalk (see page 228 of your handbook).

Hi just had the car looked at by dealer seems the unit has a low voltage so the wiring harness to the sensor has to be replaced

lets hope it can be done without any damage to the headlining etc
