I would if it was cheaper but when its no cheaper then why should I use this?

Quite a few use it, some the chip fat mix, but I would steer away from that direction as much as possible. The D4D fuel pump is a very high pressure system and having chip fat go through the workings MIGHT cause all sorts of lube problems (ooh err) The last thing you need is to be buying new pump/injectors because you ran it on chip fat!

Toyota recommend no more than a 5% mix

cheers fella... so even at 88p/litre i would not save a lot at 5% mix...

bio diesel also has the effect of damaging fuel lines, i can't remeber exactly but i think the bio-d absorbs more moisture which can damge the inside of steel pipes and any plastics also need to be treated... 5% is deemed a low enough level to guarantee reliability... any more and you are risking long term deterioration...

It is a nightmare for OEM as in theory i think they will need to change the fuel system materials to deal with the new bio-d chemistry.

Government want greater percentage mix and OEM don't want the hassle...

stick to normal diesel oil, honestly...
