love the indicator side lights lad B)

iav wanted to do something like that for the last year or more but was was just trying orange side lights and that wasnt looking right at all, so just took them out.

what is it you did? took at feed off the wire going to the indicator and put a resistor on it and connected it to the side lights or something?

are they not the same wheels just in white?

look good either way but they look like the same ones to me

Hey,

yes it's some kind of resistor between the citylight cable and the indicator cable :)

But it goes only 1 way: from citylight to indicator, not in reverse (else the citylight would be on when using the indicator).

And the wheels look about the same yea, but i can't repaint the polished lip of the rims i had last summer.

So, selling them and buying new ones, looking abit like them.

Edit: here's a schedule i made of it:

I PM'd him about it, to be sure if it was

cooolio thanks. good luck!

Hmm, forget the 90% from my previous post, he 10% has won.

I wanted to sell them, because i thought that the polished lip couldn't be repainted / powdercoated, buti have been mailing and seems thta it is possible ;)

So the wheels will stay here, and i will repaint them.

But, now i'm still doubting between silver and white

Any opinions, and why?

for me white look is more for the young teen age wannabe boy racer, that is just my opinion. i would recommend silver but its totally up to you, just follow what you want.

but i have to say they look decent in this mock up, still wouldn't be for me :)

What can we do to convince you to live it as it is????

Haha, u don't need to ;)

I love the look of the rims, except for the polished lip, that's all.

And while repainting those, the rest could also be done same time... :P

Update time :D

1st update: Found new winter wheels, so i won't run on steelies anymore in winter.

These are the new winter shoes: (yes, they will be repainted in grey or white :P )

2nd update: I found a 2nd midconsole on the net, which i've bought, to play abit with the button enlightment, which i want to change from ugly green to blue ;)

I've already been soldering the airco buttons:

Then yesterday I managed to finish the displays + temperature buttons into blue: (they light up when i switch on my lights)

But keep in mind that the display ain't lighter blue in real, picture is abit blurry because of the bad camera :)

And ow yea, the green at the bottom still has to be changed to blue :P

Let's get this thread alive again :P

To start this post: D1spec lug nuts are crap! :ffs:

I was trying them on, while i was changing back to my summer wheel set...

I was !Removed! them on when this happened:

foto0472g.jpg

Needed an hour to get it out of my key

But, it ended all good, using my original lug nuts... :)

Gave the rolla a little wash, and switched the wheels.

Hey, thanks man

Yea i changed my facelift taillights to pre-facelift ones, because i think the facelift ones are too "girly" :D

When u click on the following link, u'll notice u can see a heart shape in them, which i don't like on a "tuned" car ;)

(don't mind the cleaned boot, this is an edited picture, but the taillights are still original)

Hey, thanks.

Yes i have soldered new LED bulbs in there, and each LED has got it's own small resistor (crappy thing to do :D )

oh thats cool, must be great on fuel

any performance mods?

Straight exhaust line (necessary to get some noise from it :P )

And a K&N panel filter, that's all.

But, i have to say, the straight piping makes difference.
