thats awesome, wouldnt mind a custom exhaust for mine

have you cinsidered a intercooler? i've heard that it increases power on diesels

Well, i did in the beginning, but, it's still a diesel with only 90hp stock, so i'm modifying it more for the looks ;)

Have to save some money again for the moment, for the next update in april ;)

well lad, shes looking well.

i would be ashamed to put up a pic of mine at the minute.....its a mess

!Removed! starbo is cleaner than rolla at the minute.

so any other plans or what you at?

Hehe, thanks, but don't be ashamed, u have got a real nice ride!

The next plan will come in april, the 2nd of april i'm gonna leave her in the tuning shop, the 9th of april she will get back home :P

The plans for april are cancelled, I was going to get an airride suspension, but I decided not to do that... :D

but, the next update is coming.

I ordered a Japanese license plate, with holder.

Anyone got an idea of those holders fit our european cars?

and why aren't you doing that? ;)

Some nice 5 or 6 spoke alloys, good looking exhaust and some coilovers are the biggest part :D

Thanks btw, really appreciate it!

This summer i'm going to screw the KW coilovers even a little bit lower.

How much? Not sure yet :P

Another question.

I've been looking for the Japanese toyota front emblem for the e12, the RunX emblem.

But I've only seen that on the normal facelift bumpers (but not on the t-sport bumper).

I know that the facelift T-sport has got a 2cm bigger front emblem than normal facelift ones.

So, does anyone know if the RunX front emblem is also available in the same size as the T-sport front emblem?

No answers i see, too bad :P

Here a next update, only for using on meetings in my country.

Sweet stuff mate! I've just ordered myself a set of custom legal plates for the GTi, posted them up in my Thread, they were only £50 with all the fixings :D

Just saw it, nice one mate ;)

And over here we went back to summer mode, the t-sport bumper is back on ;)

I just noticed that my original fog frames (or how do you call it), they have got an open back at the left side of the car, to feed cold air, through a pipe, into the air filter box.

The t-sport fog frames haven't got any open holes, so there's no way to get cold air in there.

Should I just put an extra pipe from behind the front grill, or should I drill in the fog frame?

What would U guys do?

Thanks, looking great dude, I really like this CTS!

It's not a t sport.

I agree tho, nice looking car. Love the drop on it.

drill the fog frame...it is very important to have that i think it's either air for the intake or intercooler or both

Hey, thanks!

But as Uber_Luke said, it's not a TS, but a 1.4 D4D mate ;)

Thanks, I also do, lol :D

I think I'll try it first with an extra air feed pipe, from the K&N kit I had on my (ex) starlet.

If it's too ugly, too much in sight at the front, I'll drill the fog frame :)

lol sorry it's the bumpers it throws me!

Not a problem, I'd rather like it more when people think it's a TS haha

The TS bumper kit was already on it when I bought it, it's from the "sportline" series (sideskirts and rear bumper spoilers).

Hmm I'm still thinking of a new colour for the alloys actually, can't get it out of my mind.

Amused myself an hour in photoshop.

On the edited pics I've also lowered it a little more as it is now, took away the rear window tints (cuz i'm planning to take it off), and I removed the sportline logo from the door (as it is now).

First pic is the original one.

What do you guys think?

In car colour, with gold lug nuts, looks agressive, and the bronze/goldish looks more stylish...

The bright colours also look good imo, but it's just a little over the top, no?

GREEN!

Posted

Must admit I really like the grey, but if you wanted to go for colour I am in agreement with KP and I'd have to go green

Posted

Leave it as it is !!!! :crybaby:

Oh, didn't think that green would be chosen actually ;)

Leave it as it is !!!! :crybaby:

Well, there's one alloy with some paint damage, my GF let it fall over (she wanted to help me, so I can't be angry for that), and it fell on the spokes...

That's why they really need a repaint :)

haha yeh I thought it was time for something different and it was a really nice green too

Posted

You cant do Red :P

Green will be different but could you live with it every day??? The same colour alloys as bodywork will always work, been there :)

Try like a dark satin Gold a lot darker than the above golds you've used
