Emina Clunking Noises From Front.

Hi

Emina has developed a strange clunking noise like a water pump going from the front under the bonnet, noise is not coming from the engine.

They have some kind of balance shaft thing to the front to the alternator and aircon I think.

Can see anything from the bonnet, its all too low.

Any one got any thoughts.??

I had an ongoing rattle/clunking all the time from the front end which was the constant velocity coupling on the front of the auxiliary drive shaft. More prominant when accelerating. Fortunately under warantee I had it replaced.

I still have an annoying clunk when starting up from cold which I believe to be a "tired" engine mount.

Not sure whether either of these help but at least a starter for ten.
