I have tried searching but cannot find the thread about the boot button sticking out. What was the answer to that one?

Cheers

Not had a problem with the button on my aygo but did have the same problem with my Xantia hatchback boot opening button and i simply squirted the old Wd40 around the button and was never a problem again......Colin

If it cant be fixed by some combination of a hammer, WD40 and gaffa tape, then it cant be fixed by anything or anyone. Not even Chuck Norris.

Can't find the topic in this new layout, but there is at least one....

I seem to remember that some people got their lock replaced under warranty...

The boot lock was redesigned with plastics that don't expand as much in certain conditions. If you get it replaced under warranty you will get an improved part

My wife's '55 reg Aygo+ had this problem, and was replaced promptly, with no recurrence. Her '58 reg Aygo Platinum has had no troubles. ( the '55 reg one needed a new water pump and radiator, but the newer car does not have the very latest pump, so I am monitoring water level.:-- the Platinum came with a glove compartment lid, not the latest, but reliable.).
