hi mate

you ve got new ones -- OK now you have the first socket wrench size as the asme as on plugs. When veiwed you ll locate all four under the AL strip with width of about 8-10 mm and this strip is fixed on the each plug by a nut (the second wrench size). You have to have this strip released + removed from the plugs first. aFter using the first socket wrench -- have all four screw off + carefully clean each seat by solvet or similar. After that you can screw in each new plug into respective thread hole and tight . AFter that you are to mount this AL strip on each new plug and have it fixed by a nuts -- be sure all el wires are well fixed -- otherwise an el signal will not reach new glow plugs. Good luck

You don't mention make of glow-plugs you purchased. If you have bought Blue-Print/Point? Make sure you check that the tip's are the same size as the original Denso plugs you have removed. Otherwise they will almost weld themselves into your cyl/head. Denso plugs from Toyota do not cost much more than copy parts.

Regards, Beagh.

Have to echo what Beagh1958 says, there are some horror stories on here about cheap brand glow plugs and cylinder heads. Tips must be EXACTLY the same as originals.
