Mr2 As A Donor For Celica St202

Hi, guys. I'm new here. ive had my Celica for two years now, I have a 2 litre GT (ST202).

anyway, I need a few things doing on my celica, I need a new passenger side full suspension unit (strut if thats what its called) - I know someone with an MR2 which is the same age as my Celica, this person said I can basically swap any parts I need, use their MR2 as a donor. Can I use the suspension unit??

I ask cos the Celica is a different weight to the MR2 & a different ride height.

Also can i take a rear ABS sensor off the MR2 and use it on my Celica as my ABS light is showing????

& Although I havent had the ABS profesionally diagnosed yet, I had a 'tip off' from a garage that it is most likely one of the sensors that is the problem. Which kinda makes sense as last time I tried, I couldnt get the rear ABS sensors out, they were stuck in with, i presume, muck.

P.S in these two years - the ABS is the only fault ive had on the car, touch wood.

(the strut got slightly bent cos i got caught out in the snow & ended up sliding into a curb - so that is a kinda self-inflicted problem)

any help or info would be much appreciated, thanks
