Hi people,

Been havin some problems finding a child seat to fit into my st202 Celica GT. Went to Halfords on the weekend to pick one up only to be told that none of the child seats the that they supply will fit into my car because of the bucket seats. I need a forward facing child seat for my 9 month old daughter because she is rapidly getting to big for her rear facing one. I was woundering if anyone knows of a child seat that would fit into the front or rear seats and where to get it from and some pictures would be useful too.

Thank you

Hi mate, their talking utter :censor: , when fitting a front facing car seat pull the seat belt tight and then make it lock by giving it a sudden tug, or if your lucky enough to have a belt which ratchet retracts when it's been pulled out full then do that when fitting (not sure when they were introduced but my dad's Avensis has this.

the kinda seat I have it this:

mother care linky

my 2 year old is more than comfortable in it and his big brother was the same when he had the older version

Hi gt forbes

Thanks for the help, I got the one you recomeded. Got it from mothercare the bloke in mothercare had more of an idea than the bloke on Halfords. Do you have yours fitted in the front seat or rear seat of your car?
