Yaris Mud Flaps

Every time I go through any puddle/standing water it all ends up on the back of my car. Would fitting some genuine Yaris mud flaps prevent the back of my car becoming so filthy? I’ve never had mud flaps on my cars before.

Does anyone have them fitted to a MkII Yaris? How much are they from Mr T? Are they easy to fit? Do they work?

Cheers

Do they work?

Hi,

They are on my wife's Yaris, and yes, they do work .... somewhat.

Don't expect miracles though, because of the bodyshape.

If I remember correctly, fronts were ~ €40,- and rear's ~ €55,-, excluding fitting.

Hi Reece,

Fitting mud flaps will help in keeping the car cleaner and will also reduce water spray on those motoway journeys.

From memory the front ones are a doddle to fit but the rear ones require you to drill a hole for each mudflap (still an easy job)

I purchased and fitted mine in 2007 and they cost me £15.73 plus vat for each pair from Mr.T.(I dug the invoices out and have them in front of me)I can even give you the part no.s : Front - TPZ416-B9964-00. Rear - TPZ416-B9963-00

(I even managed to get 10% discount and only paid £16.64 including VAT per pair, BARGAIN!)

Hope that helps!

Many thanks

I have noticed 2 small slots between the rear bumper and the plastic arch that covers the rear wheel. I’m wondering if the design may have changed. I’ll have to go to M T and see if any are already fitted.

I have factory mudflaps fitted on mine and they do keep most of the muck off, however if it's raining hard or on wet roads, the back of the car still gets filthly just not as often. ;)
