My car was not used for a few days and Battery went flat. Tried to jump start it with leads, the engine would not turn over, ignition light was on initially but then lost all electrical power.

Anybody got any ideas?

I would check first of all if there were good connections on jump leads and both batteries.

Is the spare/slave Battery fully charged?

Can you hear a clicking sound when trying to start

as already said above. Check the engine earth lead is tight...try jump starting using the earth lead from the extra Battery attached onto the engine.

Thanks for the suggestions. It now seems that there is no power at all. The only light on is the red flashing alarm light. Is there a master fuse or reset that I could check??We cant put on any lights (hazards, main, interior)no dash boared lights . The only fuse box we can find is just below the Battery in the engine compartment. Is there any in the car?? Thanks
