2.0 D-4D Tr

hi folks

currently run a 03 mondeo tdci lx, which has, rather unhelpfully, chucked a couple of injector related faults at me this year.

Found an 07 plate avensis d-4d tr at a local dealer, up for 9995 with 44k on the clock.

is the car priced well?

are injectors are a common fault?

anything else i should be aware of?

also available locally is a 2.2 180 diesel...

Hi

I don't know if this will help, I am just trading my 09 on 58 plate 2.2 TR hatch, one of the last of the old shape avensis in, it has 37000 miles on it, they have only offered just under 10k for it on a brand new car.

On the injectors, I had a 55 plate 2.2 2 years ago and at 45k this had new injectors fitted under warrenty as they were quite noisy and when checked at the toyota dealer they were found to be below the perfomance limits toyota set, so the injectors and pipes were all replaced.
