I have googled for a Priceworthy Ipod-connection that connects thru the CD-changer interface on the standard radio, the cheapest one I found were 150€ incl p&p.

The radio itself is more or less crap so it's not worth spending to much money on. On the other hand the std radio blend in nice in the interior.

Any suggestions were I could get a cheaper CD-changer/Ipod-connection?

A Dension Gateway 100 for the Aygo/107/C1 will do what you want and costs about €129 (£115),

but I have to say that I don't really like the way it works. The radio doesn't support CD-text,

so you can't see what you're doing on you iPod. You have to remember what

function you're using and which songs are on the iPod in which order.

You CAN switch it over so the control happens from the iPod, but then it's

nothing more than a line-in on the back with charging and WAY overpriced.

I went with an after market stereo. I agree that it doen't blend in

as nice, but it works ten times better than the original radio...

OK, that was a very valueable answer for me, since the Ipod won't interact with the radio in a proper way, not showing CD-text

I will coninue using my simple 3,5 mm cable. I would have been very dissapointed if I'd bought the Dension gateway and found out

the lack of functionallity afterwards.... :crybaby:

Thank You very much for You good answer Jan van de Wouw, I appreciate that!

Someone gave me one of these as a present for helping them out.

I have 1,5 OEM radio's laying on my workbench, so I tested it out...

If you're not sure about a product it's also helpfull to search for a downloadable

manual, I did so and found the system to be quite cumbersome.

My Kenwood lets me search for a track while playing another one, just like on

the iPod itself, the Dension-system (and the OEM-system by Toyota) has to

select a song befor you can input a "next" or "Previous" or whatever.

The dension-systems are a perfect product; I had a predecessor on my previous

Kenwood before they introduce their own interface and that workd like a treat.

It really is the stock radio that's letting the entire system down.

The display IS text-capable, as it does show RDS, but it's just a cheap radio,

so they didn't bother fitting CD-text or MP#-support. Too bad really...
