Audio Help - Yaris Gs

I have a yaris gs (99) and am after a cd player, i have read through a lot of posts in this forum about putting 3rd party cd players in the car, how it can stop the main console working, can leave the dash looking a mess, so i decided to enquire at some toyota garages about the price of a cd player to slot into the hole in the dash, the prices i have been given range from 350 - 160,

the question i have is, is there a way of getting a third party multichanger by itself and linking it up to the current controls or will some third party players work fine and not cause any problems, does anyne no cheaper prices than the ones i was quoted for the toyota player.

Cheerz in advance :help::thumbsup:

You can use the existing head uni and put an after market CD Changer. they cost about 200ish including the cd changer and the interface

The original headunit is pants...(bin it)

Toyota lie, they want more money from u.

Theres plenty of help on installing a new headunit bla bla blah, plus im looking into a fascia adaptor at the mo which will make installing a unit easier (and look pukka!).

Have fun :thumbsup:

clock in the dash, there are wires that plug into the old head unit, leave the wires there and the headunit, you will need to unplug the speaker wires
