Hiya

I don't have an idea on cost, so I expect someone else will pipe up with that one. But it's quite simple to fit as it only slots over the body bead. There's no glue needed as far as I'm aware.

I take it you have a leak in the rear of the car? They often leak from the spoiler where it fits to the boot rather than from the boot seal.

thanks mate for replying whats the best way of stopping it from coming in from the spoiler i was going to seal it with some silicone over the bolts

I'd perhaps suggest removing the spoiler and putting a bead of silicon round the base mounting points then re-attaching it. You want the seal on the outside of the car really, rather than just sealing round the bolt inside the boot.

Bumping an old thread, but did you ever get the part price for the seal (and part number if poss)? I'll be a Celica owner from next week and I know that the seal on the car I'm buying is split, although not yet letting any water in.

Gen7 Celica's tend to leak from the rear light clusters, so make sure they are nice & tight also.
