Hi everyone, will my RAV 4.3 XTR tell me when its due a service? Had it nearly 2 years now with 20K on the clock.

The Rav 4 does not have a service indicator.

It should be serviced every 10,000 miles or 1 year which ever occurs first

Or else your 3 year warranty could become null and void.

There used to be a time when the dealer would chase you up with a reminder (and an invite to consider changing). Doesn't seem to happen any more (certainly the dealer I bought my RAV from, and the different dealer I get it serviced with, don't follow through. Sometimes I wonder if some companies actually want a person's business).

It has an "oil service now" indicator to say you have exceeded the life of the oil.

Your dealer should have told you 12 months or 10k.
