Steering Wheel!

On my way 2 play 7 a side footy there, i wos goin down a dual carriageway and wen i hit bout 65mph the steering wheel started 2 wobble/vibrate! Has this kinda thing happened 2 any1 else? wot can i do 2 rectify it? Should i just take it 2 Toyota and say "Oi, f'ing sort this"?

Get the wheels rebalanced & it should go away.

Having said that mine's been a pig for ages regardless of what I do with it - the 17's don't help. :rolleyes:

I just had 2 new front tyres fitted! Should the garage not have balanced the wheels after it got the new tyres fitted?

They should have but get it done again. More than likely that will solve it - if not a wheel alignment check proberly wouldn't hurt. :)

I ve got a vibration at 75+ nobody knows were it comes from, have had wheels balanced twice!! bearings etc all check out.

Good point being my economy has increased with driving slower :ffs: :thumbsup:

I've got it at about the same speed. Had it for ages - nothing cures it.

There was a thread about it roaming about ages ago & I forget what was decided - could have been getting them re-balanced with a specific type of machine or something?

Dunno! :rolleyes: At least it keeps me awake off night shifts on the dual-carrigeways with it all over the place! :lol:

May as well yea! :thumbsup:

It should only cost a little bit but if the car's under warrenty you may as well take advantage of that. :yes:

would be an idea to take it to toyota as im sure dan said they had a bad batch of eggy wheels at one time

It's more likely to be the tracking if they have only just been balanced and it's still doing it.
